Prof. Erin Means Serves as May Editor of Oklahoma Bar Journal

OU Law professor and alumna Erin Means ('09) is this month's editor of the Oklahoma Bar Journal. Means has served on the publication's Board of Editors for three years per an appointment by the Oklahoma Bar Association president. This month's issue centers on Constitutional Law.

"In putting the Constitutional Law theme issue together, I enjoyed working with the various authors to identify topics that were both nationally relevant and useful to Oklahoma practitioners," said Means.

Means is an assistant professor of legal research and writing at the OU College of Law. She joined the University of Oklahoma College of Law faculty in 2012 after serving as an associate attorney at Gungoll, Jackson, Collins, Box & Devoll, P.C. in Enid, Oklahoma. While in private practice, Means focused on litigation involving oil and gas matters, construction law, commercial law, negligence, contract disputes, and property disputes.
